Woman of the Year Finalists Selected
The Women’s Roundtable Celebrates 30 Years of Woman of the Year
ERIE, PA – The Women’s Roundtable of Northwest Pennsylvania is pleased to announce the five finalists for the 30th Annual Woman of the Year Award. This award recognizes women who go beyond the call of duty to help other women and whose actions have made a positive impact in our community. In January, The WRT opened nominations from the public. More than fifteen women were nominated. A panel of independent judges from the Erie community selected the following nominees as the 2017 Woman of the Year Finalists:

Advocate, Mentor, Activist & Volunteer
Director, Contact Center Operations/ Customer Service, Erie Insurance
Co-Chair, Women’s Affinity Network
Magisterial District Judge, City of Erie
Outstanding contributor to the field of Criminal Justice
Chair, Relay for Life
Editor, Lake Erie LifeStyle, Her Times and House to Home
Volunteer and Supporter of Athena Erie
Meet and greet the five finalists, who will be introduced to the Erie community for the first time, at the Celebrate the Finalists reception. Last years’ winner, Sonya Arrington, will be the evening’s guest speaker.
Join us on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 for our 30th Annual Woman of the Year Celebrate the Finalists at the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel, 55 West Bay Drive – Harlequin Ballroom from 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The cost is $25.00 per person for WRT members and $30.00 per person for non-members which includes cash bar and hors d’oeuvres. INC.; Rebeka Seelinger, Attorney and Barbara J. Welton, Attorney.
The Woman of the Year will be announced at the Woman of the Year banquet which will be held at the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel on Wednesday, May 3rd. Registration for this event can be made on-line at wrterie.org.
The Women’s Roundtable is a social and business networking organization. The WRT is the first organization in Northwest Pennsylvania to recognize the contributions of women in our community, especially those who help other women succeed.
